As some of you may have known that Wisconsin Department of Health Services has signed contract with third party Independent Assessor (IA) to take over the personal care services arena. Their implementation plan to kick off the IA by spring of 2017. This will have huge impact to ever SSI Medicaid and some HMO.
Based of the information of WPSA fall conference last week in Wisconsin Dell, the IA will two types of assessment - in person and phone call assessment. They also plan to have two separate assessments to make comparison of the needs of individual who need personal care services.
